Remember when I shared with you this room spray recipe back in August? It was sweet, citrusy and perfect for summer. We used it daily around here and ran out just in time to mix up a new combo for fall. The problem was, I wasn't sure what combinations of oils to use. I searched Pinterest, but everything I found contained oils that I didn't have and/or were out of my budget.
A couple weeks ago, we took a random trip to Whole Foods, where I smelled the most ah-maze-ing scent while shopping. Low and behold, they had their diffuser out and had clove + tangerine + vanilla diffusing away. It was the most delicious scent and instantly smelled of fall. I knew I needed those oils so I could diffuse them myself at home. I couldn't buy vanilla that day, but I could get clove, so I purchased it and brought it home. I already had tangerine so I prayed the two would smell okay together without the vanilla. I diffused them immediately and loved it just the same! I've been diffusing the two together ever since so I decided to turn it into a room spray for the other rooms in the house.
Here's the combo I came up with and am loving. Try it and tell me what ya think!
- 8 oz. dark bottle
- 2 tbs. rubbing alcohol
- 3/4 cup distilled water
- 2-3 drops clove essential oil
- 3-4 drops tangerine essential oil
when you find something that works, you buy it over and over
